Our Facilities
Compound feeds are produced at Tore Mill, Inverness, and Birkhill Mill, Coalburn, Lanarkshire, Scotland's most modern feed manufacturing facility. These mills are conveniently sited to allow them to use cereals, pulses and distillery by-products which are produced in Scotland.
The name, Harbro is synonymous with excellence in pedigree feeding and the company is proud to be associated with many of the top sheep and cattle breeders in the UK and Ireland. These pedigree coarse feeds are manufactured at Smiddyseat Mill, Turriff. This unit also manufactures the company's protein concentrates and fat premixes.
Blended feeds are produced to standard and custom formulations at Tore Mill, Birkhill Mill and Mintlaw. Birkhill is also a distribution centre for the south-west of Scotland and the northern counties of England whilst the Howden depot covers the requirements of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas.
