Our Facilities
Compound feeds are produced at Tore Mill, Inverness, Scotland's most modern feed manufacturing
facility. The mill is conveniently sited to allow it to use cereals, pulses and distillery
by-products which are produced in the north and north-east of Scotland.
The name, Harbro is synonymous with excellence in pedigree feeding and the company is proud to
be associated with many of the top sheep and cattle breeders in the UK and Ireland. These pedigree
coarse feeds are manufactured at Smiddyseat Mill, Turriff. This unit also manufactures the
company's protein concentrates and fat premixes.
Blended feeds are produced to standard and custom formulations
at Tore Mill, Mintlaw and Dumfries. The depot at Dumfries is a distribution
centre for the south-west of Scotland and the northern counties of England
whilst the Howden depot covers the requirements of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire
and surrounding areas.
