The sales team is backed by one of the most comprehensive technical teams in any agricultural
supply company. It is through this department that the company maintains its dominant position
in nutritional science. Unlike many other companies, Harbro believes that its technical knowledge
should be shared with its customers and to this end, a comprehensive research programme is undertaken
each year in conjunction with various universities and research institutes.
This work is carried out on a practical level on customer's farms with the findings widely
publicised at farmer meetings, in newsletters and in the press. The technical department's
