business offering a depth of service and knowledge that enhance our own latent strengths. The
partnerships forged with these companies give Harbro greater breadth and allow us to draw on
information and experience from throughout the world.
Trouw Nutrition
Trouw Nutrition, part of Nutreco, has for many years been our main supplier providing a range
of mineral and vitamin supplements, silage additives, and specialist feed ingredients.
The company is part of the world's largest animal feed supplier and our excellent relationship with
them allows us access to their research and development programmes as well as to their technical and
analytical services.
United Fish Products Limited
UFP and Harbro have worked together for many years, jointly developing new products and helping to
expand the market for high quality fishmeals and oils. The management at UFP is committed to
investing heavily in practical nutrition research which has a major impact at farm level and Harbro
continue to support and encourage this.
UFP's Aberdeen plant is the first fishmeal factory to gain UKASTA feed materials assurance scheme (FEMAS)
accreditation for fishmeal production.
Whyte and Mackay Limited
The rapport developed with companies such as Whyte and
Mackay has allowed Harbro to develop and market superior products such
as Invercrombies produced by Invergordon Distillery. We rely heavily on
such long-term relationships to provide a stable supply of excellent raw
materials and products to farmers.
