Leading poultry specialist has joined Harbro

A well known figure in the U.K poultry industry, John Thornborrow, has joined Harbro Ltd as poultry specialist with the remit to further develop the company’s growing layer and rearing feed business. John will cover Scotland and the North of England. I

“John is widely known in the poultry industry and his wide experience and expertise will be invaluable to our customers as our poultry feed business continues to expand,” said sales director, Chris Baxter.



John gained his Certificate in Poultry Husbandry and HND in poultry production with distinction at SAC Auchincruive and was awarded the Nicholas Europa Award as best poultry student. He has worked with a national feed compounder for the past 13 years as a poultry specialist covering Scotland and the East of England.



“I am delighted to be joining Harbro which is a Scottish-based company with a strong reputation of listening to its customers and seeking out unique nutritional solutions,” said John.
