Master Planning Manager (full time)

We are looking for a self-motivated, confident and professional Master Planning Manager, with proven experience of forecasting logic, demand management and MRP systems.

 

This role is responsible for the continued development of the master planning and inventory management processes throughout the Harbro Group.  Utilising external benchmark processes and examples of best practice from both within the Company and out with, this role leads the development and implementation of systemised, statistically driven forecast review processes and challenges views of sales forecast based on these systems to include some of the key responsibilities:-

 

  • Responsible for the development of the MRP, production planning, demand planning, forecast and inventory management processes for the Harbro Group.
  • Lead the development of reports to track base, seasonal, and promotional trends and improve processes.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of KPIs to demonstrate the performance of the forecasting, planning and inventory management systems.
  • Accountable for ensuring all externally sourced materials are available to meet production and customer demand in full and on time, communicating any potential shortfalls as soon as they become apparent, and leading discussions with Production, Logistics and Customer Services to create mitigation plans where material shortages occur.
  • Provide Production Management, Suppliers and Procurement with forecasts to support the building of a robust supply chain.
  • Accountable for ensuring that planning and inventory areas of the ERP system are kept up to date and accurate.

 

Candidates will have excellent understanding of ERP systems and advanced Excel Skills along with experience of managing and leading a high performing team in a complex environment.

 

In addition, candidates will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, in particular will be a strong and confident communicator and have advanced numeracy, analytical and problem solving skills with standalone capability in this role.
