Greg Paton
Retail Marketing Manager

When did you join Harbro and what’s your background?
I became part of the Harbro marketing team in January 2025, following Harbro’s acquisition of Murray Farmcare. Before that, I studied Business at university, where I discovered a real passion for marketing, and went on to build experience in the motor trade before moving into agriculture.
I first joined Murray Farmcare as Marketing Manager in March 2020, in the very same week the pandemic hit!
In my current role as Retail Marketing Manager, I’m responsible for marketing on the retail side of the business, promoting the products and services of Harbro Country Stores. All in all, I’ve now been working in the agricultural sector for five and a half years.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
For me, it’s seeing long-planned marketing campaigns finally come to life after months of preparation. It’s very rewarding to see the results of all that planning and teamwork.
Favourite Harbro product?
It has to be Harbro Woofers. I’m a big dog lover and hope to have one again in the future, so it’s a product that feels like a personal favourite as well as a professional one.
What do you get up to outside of work?
I’m a big music fan and love listening to all kinds of music and going to gigs! I went to 14 concerts last year and 19 the year before! I also enjoy watching Formula 1 and haven’t missed a Grand Prix since 2007!
